Canberra Choral Society invites you to celebrate Christmas this year with music written 230 years apart by two master composers, performed by the CCS Massed Choir.
Vivaldi’s Gloria is sure to have you humming along, while Britten’s Saint Nicolas, telling the life of the patron saint of children (and inspiration for Santa Claus), includes two ‘singalong’ chorales.
Featuring a rare opportunity to hear the silvery tenor of Brett Weymark, Music Director of Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.
Plus the youthful voices of the Turner Trebles and Vocal Fry in one of the most beautiful pieces for children’s voices, Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols .
