Come and join us for our next parent and community talk hosted by our very experienced Violin Teacher and Teacher Trainer,  Barbara Hayward.

Bio: For approximately 9 years before I became a Suzuki teacher, I was teaching primary school children music through Recorder and Choral work. Then I started hearing about Dr Suzuki in Japan and his wonderful way of educating young children. I was interested because my instrument was the violin having studied through the AMEB system. Someone directed me to Joyce Churchill and that amazing lady became my very close friend and mentor, steering me through the Suzuki training with love and enthusiasm. I have now taught hundreds of children and adults following Dr Suzuki’s philosophy for more than 40 years and love and enjoy every moment.

All current NSW Suzuki Members* are welcome to attend for free and others just need to pay a minimal fee of $12 + booking fee.

Booking is required so we can send the zoom link to everyone who enrolled by Thursday 23 May 2024.

Suzuki Parents Talks are offered throughout the year at our various events as well as at our Institute at Thornleigh. The Lecturers are our most experienced teachers of Suzuki Method or, from time to time include other community members with special knowledge of child development and current education theories.
