Dear Piano Teachers
The main Graduation Concert at the Opera House Concert Hall on Sunday, 01 November 2026 will feature two piano Solo performances. The selected students will perform their audition piece at the Concert Hall. Teachers are invited to submit their most polished Suzuki piano students, who are graduating in 2026, to audition to be a soloist. Students may submit their original graduation recording or a more recent recording if they wish. Students who are graduating at level 4 piano or above should seek their teachers’ advice and submit only one movement of their Graduation piece.
Please follow this audition process to submit your students for consideration.
We are looking for 1 performer per Item:
Junior Soloist: Graduating Student up to and including level 5 (maximum duration 2 minutes).
Senior Soloist: Graduation Student from levels 6-11 (maximum duration 4 minutes).
Audition Process:
Junior soloists must submit auditions performing graduation pieces only.
Senior soloists can choose any piece to submit for audition
First Round Audition:
Submit Audition application form with YouTube link up to 5pm Thursday 23 July 2026.
Note: This deadline is earlier than graduation paperwork deadline of 30 July 2026.
No late entries will be accepted.

Students and teachers will be notified of these results by Friday 14 August 2026.
Final Round Audition:
Students invited to final round audition must be available to attend the live audition.
Any student unable to attend this audition will not move forward for final selection.
Live Audition Schedule:
Junior Auditions: 9.30am – 10.30am Sunday 23 August 2026– Suzuki Institute, Thornleigh.
Senior Auditions: 10.30am – 11.30am Sunday 23 August 2026– Suzuki Institute, Thornleigh.
Finalists will be notified on Monday 24 August and must email a photo and short biography to admin@suzukimusicnsw.com.au by Monday 31 August 2026 for inclusion in the program.
The Piano solo performances are among the highlights of the concert and give your students a rare opportunity to perform on the main stage of the Concert Hall.
