Solo Concert Event for All Instruments – esp for HSC & Senior Students

This Concert series is open to all Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Flute & Recorder students as soloists or in groups who would like the opportunity to play with accompanist in a friendly and supportive environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for students to gain valuable experience at performing to an appreciative audience. It is a great motivation for the performer to focus on bringing their repertoire up to a high standard. There is noting like performing at a concert and being appreciated. It also highlights the gift of music by sharing with others.
This is also an ideal opportunity for HSC students to gain valuable experience at performing to an audience in preparation for their HSC recitals in September. It is advisable to bring your own accompanist.
Please ensure that your children/students are well prepared for these concerts so that they can have a really wonderful and positive experience. We will also be offering a quick rehearsal for tempo check with our accompanist.
HOW TO ENROL
Parents please enrol directly.
Teachers can enrol your students (to ensure your students are in the same concert).
You need to enter the length of the piece played in minutes.
If you are NOT bringing your own accompanist, please send copies of the piano accompaniments for music outside the Suzuki Repertoire to Suzuki Office by Monday, 1st August, 2016.
COSTS
- Book 1 - 3 = $18 per student
- Book 4 - 5 = $21 per student
- Book 6 and up = $25 per student
- HSC Student (max 3 pieces per student). 1 piece = $25; 2 pieces = $40; 3 pieces = $50.
CONCERT TIME
Each concert time is approximately 60 - 90mins. Please choose one of the following time slot when you register.
- 10:00am start or
- 1:00pm start
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Students must be current 2016/17 financial members of STEAA (NSW) Ltd to attend. Membership fees can be paid online by Make A Payment here.
Places for this are strictly limited. Placement will be allocated in order of applications received.
No cancellation or refund will be allowed once enrolment is received.
