Two day workshop featuring tutorials, ensembles, play-ins, parent talk and enrichment for all students.
Enrichment includes creative music making with guest educator and composer, Karen Kyriakou, and music literacy and theory classes in Music Mind Games.
Spaces for all programs are limited, and will close when full.

PROGRAMS:
Beginner Program: $185.00
Students studying violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, or recorder - Book 1
Includes tutorials, play-ins, repertoire classes, plus enrichment activities with Karen Kyriakou, Music Mind Games and concert.
Classes begin 10:00am
Standard Program: $245.00
Students studying violin or cello Books 2-8
Students studying viola, guitar, flute, or recorder - Books 2 and above
Includes tutorials, play-ins, repertoire classes, enrichment activities with Karen Kyriakou, Music Mind Games as well as ensemble work and concert.
Classes begin 9:00am
Advanced Program: $245.00
Students studying violin or cello Book 9+
Includes tutorials on advanced repertoire, ensemble work and concert, plus enrichment activities with Karen Kyriakou. In tutorials, advanced students will work on selected pieces for performance at the finale concert.
Classes begin 9:00am
Advanced Violin, Cello and Viola Extra Classes: $20.00 each
- Violin students will have a tutorial on Mozart Haffner Rondo at 8am Sunday.
- Cello students will have a tutorial on Schumann Fantasy Pieces Op73 Third “Quick and with fire” at 8am Sunday.
- Viola students will study repertoire from viola Book 6 and above at 8:00am Saturday.
These are additional workshop sessions for advanced students.
SECE Program: $60.00
For children 0-5yrs who have not started instrumental lessons
Includes one 45-minute interactive early childhood class each day. In addition, families can observe other classes from beginners to advanced students, attend a Suzuki parent talk, and watch the finale concert on Sunday 29 September.
DETAILS:
- Detailed information will be emailed to all registered students closer to the event date.
- Extra Class ticket: If you have purchased an Extra Class ticket, please note the start time.
- Tutorial Grouping: Suzuki Office will take into consideration that your child would have moved on from the piece you listed on the form on the day you enrol. There is no change required before the event.
- Registration from 8.15am on Saturday 28 September (advanced viola class register at 7:45am). Please come 20mins earlier for registration and tuning.
- Finale concert will include ensemble pieces and selected instrumental performances mass play-in of Book 1 pieces. Finish by approx. 3.00pm on Sunday 29 September.
- Music: Orchestral & advanced tutorial music will be distributed from 6 Sept
- Parent Helper: if you have ticked to help as parent helper, we will be in touch before the event.
- Access: There is plenty of parking in surrounding streets. Please respect the school neighbours when parking and observe parking signs. Abbotsleigh is just a few minutes’ walk from Wahroonga Train Station.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:

- Late enrolments after 25 August may be considered if spaces are available, but any booking accepted after 25 August will incur a late booking fee of $50.00.
- Refunds: Cancellations made by 5pm on the 26 August will receive a full refund less a $30.00 Admin Fee. No refunds for cancellations made after 5pm on the 26 August. All cancellations must be received by the Suzuki Office in writing.
- Please remember that students require parental supervision at all times.
