The Stanwell Tops Residential Workshop is an annual event organized by Illawarra Suzuki Talent Education Association (ISTEA) in the spirit of Dr Shinichi Suzuki's approach to nurturing the talent of each child.
The fun weekend provides students and their families with opportunities to make friends, share their love and knowledge of music, perform, and have fun in a beautiful bush environment with some of the finest Suzuki teachers. Yasuki Nakamura, Haruo Goto and Takao Mizushima will again be generously mentoring students, along with interstate teachers Kim Bishop, Sachi Yuki, Zeah Riorden and Theresa O'Brien.
The Stanwell Tops Residential Workshop offer participants
- Tutorials for violin, cello and guitar, as well as play-ins
- A special tone class for violins on Friday night
- Private lessons available on the weekend
- Special one day Twinkler classes for a gentle introduction to the methods of group tutorials
- Musical Enrichment classes
- Daily Parent Talks
- Orchestra Classes and Concert performance opportunities
- Pre-Instrumental (0 - 3yrs) Suzuki baby music classes for younger slbilings - parent participation is required.
