From Japan With Love – Video tribute to violin teacher Yasuki Nakamura
In 1979 Japanese violin teacher Yasuki Nakamura and his family immigrated to Australia to spread a revolutionary new music teaching method pioneered by Dr Shinichi Suzuki. In 2013, Mr Nakamura was awarded honorary membership of the Order of Australia by the Governor-General of Australia for his contribution to music education. This is his story.
